Make Mealtime Family Time
Anyway, a very Happy Mother’s Day to all you mothers out there!
How did you go with your mother’s day gift? I hope it’s appreciated if it comes from the heart, rite 😉
Every now and then, my dear husband like to take our family out for a treat (not forgetting home-cooked meal, of course ^-^ ) .
It is important to us to find a place that everybody can enjoy.
We want everybody to be happy, not just one or two. Sometimes it’s hard to find a place that everybody likes and will enjoy.
Two place that my whole family likes and enjoys are called Baskin-Robbins & Kenny Rogers Roasters.
Blueberry craze 😀
Blue-ish? >o<
Blushes? >_<
We tried and ate new flavor: Blueberry! (Available for a limited time only).
It’s actually a mixed berry flavor (blue raspberry and blueberry combination) swirled with their own Tutti Frutti ice.
Delicious gravy ^-^
Oh, peek-a-boo?
Observation time, bricks? ^_-
Mama, The King & big sis 😉
For many families, eating meal together has become a lost art but it proves to be a simple, yet effective way to reduce the risk of youth substance abuse and to raise healthier children.
The facts are on the table: eating together every day/night keeps the doors of communication open.
It’s the perfect time and place to reconnect and to show your kids that they are your priority.
Sitting across the table is where and when you can find out more about your children’s likes, dislikes, and daily life.
By eating together you can help your children toward positive activities and behavior.
It’s perfect, no need to explain 😉 Play time! *alhamdulillah!*
To lovely mommies: when you take good care of yourself, the better you will feel, the more energy you will have, and the better mother you will be *Insya-Allah*.
If you are not able to fit in something you want to do on Mother’s Day, then plan it for another day. Nobody says you have to do it “on” Mother’s Day. Feel free to pamper yourself without feeling guilty.
Mothers can get so busy taking care of others that they forget to take care of themselves. It is important if you have not been taking care of yourself, that you re-evaluate your schedule and figure out a way to incorporate exercise, better eating habits, things that energize you, quiet time, prayer time.
I pray that all you single mother’s will be blessed beyond your expectations this Mother’s Day.
May God surprise you and bring you much joy, peace, laughter and love.
Hope all you moms are having a wonderful Mother’s Day! 🙂
