MeadJohnson Launch: From Kid’s-Eye View – Photos from a Different Level

This is Sticky Post (72 hours) . Kindly scroll down for our latest post. TQ >_<

Warning: this post contains large images.

Good morning wonderful mommies 😉

It has been a while since I have posted anything. Not because I didn’t want to, I just have been exceptionally busy.

We recently went to a special invitation event’s by Nuffnang for Mead Johnson Nutrition Official Launch of Enfagrow A+ With More Than 4X DHA and New Triple Protection Guard and my big boy (KiruaMi-cHan) obtained his second offical assignment as my personal photographer and both of us just had a great time.

Alhamdulillah, luckily, I managed to breastfeed all my kids non-stop for more than 5 and a half years till today (tandem nursing).

However I’ve received lots of inquiries via SMS & email from young moms asking “What’s next milk for each of my kids after they completed their journey of 2 and half years breasfeeding moment with me?

Strictly, I’ve scheduled them to drink 3-4 glass of milk daily after they have reached 3 years old  (milk powder: Enfakid A+, homemade soy milk) together with 2-3 portions of grilled salmon or trout meals, steamed veggies such as broccoli, carrots, potato plus fresh fruits and last but not least, our family favorites: yogurt & cheese!.

My son. He is a 5 years old boy, very sensible and precocious artist.

He started taking pictures since he was 3 years old. Sony Cybershot DSC-P10 to start and then, it seemed like overnight, he just started taking pictures realistically.

Camwhore with my beloved son: KiruaMi-cHan, before the event start 😉

Get ready for image overload! Here’s a few shots from last few weeks event:

There’s something about a photo taken by a child that evokes a feeling that no adult can capture. Kids take photos of things that the average person wouldn’t think of shooting. They bring a real-life quality to photos that professionals work to perfect over their entire careers.

Repeatedly, others will see my boy running around with our (shiny, expensive, breakable, fragile, non-kid-proof, please-don’t-drop-it) digital camera and look at us like we’re an aliens.

Nevertheless, they also have this look of wonder, at which point I tell them to give it a try with their own little kids. “You’ll be surprised,” I tell them. Alhamdulillah they do believe in my boy’s artwork after discovering it 😉

Below is my boy video as proof that: Stronger Children Learn More 😉 *alhamdulillah*

You may click this url to view his extraordinary independent work as photo editor. And yes, all these pictures in this post had been 100% edited by him.

With no doubt, drinking milk helps my kids perform better in their studies. I felt his pride, his accomplishment. I felt it and it was an amazing feeling 🙂 *Alhamdulillah*

KiruaMi-cHan a.k.a my boy  is obsessed with photographing & photo-editing. All the time. Invariably. If he could take pictures instead of breathe, it would be done.

His view on things, his impression, what he sees, is surprisingly very detailed. He has an immaculate consciousness. He loves to embrance lovely moment and capture it perfectly on camera lens.

I am completely impressed with his artistic work  and not just because I am his mother but honestly, I am awestruck.

Last Friday, I baked cheese bun for my kids by add-on Enfakid A+ milk powder in my easy-peasy ingredients 😉 Result: my kid loves ‘em!

Say cheese, drink healty & eat healthy!
Alhamdulillah, they are always eager to learn and participate in our homeschool activities.

Wholesome snack

Besides having more than 4X DHA, the new innovation of Enfakid A+, is now enhanced with Triple Protection Guard which has nutrients to help support a child’s body resistance in 3 important aspects: respiratory system, digestive system, and resistance to other common illnesses.

My cutie pie ^_^

Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs

moshi-moshi vogue mommies 😉

Wish you were in happy Monday *cuddles*

Today update: Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs!

Tadaa . . . ^0^

Gosh, I’m one of the biggest fans of this movie since Ice Age I >_< Now it’s LittleKittle‘s turn 😀

Why I love it?
The characters are original, likeable, and unpredictable.

Have you been privileged to watch this movie yet, momma? Don’t miss it.

Alhamdulillah, the King a.k.a PaPa brought us to movie nite yesterday 😉

Ice Age 3: It’s a tremendous surprise! Never wear out its welcome.

KiruaMi-cHan, YunaFi-cHan & ReiHi-cHan ^-^

Learning about dinosaurs is fun and you may simply interactive with these thematic ideas to focus on reading and art.

Normally, young children’s curiosity is easily sparked by high quality prehistoric animation movie.

Plus, getting kids involved in the prehistoric past is a great way to get them interested in the environmental issues of the present.

Candid moment! ^_-

We were fortunate enough to view it in the best seats *alhamdulillah*.

It is far more than about dinasours, the movie brings many pertinent elements together.

Me & lil HidE-cHan =]

Ice Age 3: Bring-out solid laughs and thrills wrapped up in funny sense of character.

Teaser: Our cuisine project – Topside Steak 😉

I hope you can watch it with you lil ones. If you have seen it, please share your insights 😉

Thank you for your love *hugs*

May Allah swt blessed your family. Amin~ 😀

Makeup for Preschooler (Stage Show)

Good Friday lovely mommies 😉

Wish you were in great day *hugs*

How do you feel today?

Everybody needs to take care of their self in order to feel good about oneself. Think about it.

It works the other way around as well. If you teach your lil ones to feel good about him/herself then they are going to be taking care of themselves. *Insya-Allah*

Perfect beauty is an elusive concept, but if you can feel good about yourself by enhancing your looks, you may find more joy in your life, rite? What do your lil girl think about it?

Do you allow your preschooler to use makeup?

ReiHi-cHan’s outing purse *full with hair bands & hair clips!*

MamaFiza’s makeup bag: it’s mine 😀

With no doubt, I don’t think make-up and toddler belong in the same sentences unless it’s in a play setting.

My approach is different; I say it’s alright to play with makeup once in a blue moon, just like it’s OK to play with princess gowns, tutu, tiaras, wings and a wand.

Why? Because they are all for fantasy and dress up and have nothing to do with real life. It’s fun, it’s flashy, it’s all over her face and it usually has sparkles in it, too.

Just like I wouldn’t mind her wearing big red circles on her cheeks to be a clown, I don’t mind colors on her face for fantasy dress up other times. (And there is usually little difference between the two!)

I see nothing wrong with it because it is encouraging her to be creative and she is having fun doing it. I am a mother of 3 lil *future* lady so I will teach them to apply it age appropriately 😉

That way, there is a definitive dividing line about what’s appropriate for little girls and grown up ladies. She doesn’t confuse one for the other.

And the best fun? Let her put it on herself.

And if you’re feeling generous, let her do your face, too. Make sure you have a camera with you to capture those sweet moment >_<
