How to Make Fruit Punch Delight with Your Toddler
Update by: zACk
Due to mamafiza’s still not fully recovered from her sickness, I’ll help to post her “draft post“. Thank you.
Hola momma,
Do you like fruit punch drinks? My kid loves it!

Happy kiddies *alhamdulillah*
If you would like a simple and easy punch recipe to teach your toddlers this is it. *yippie*
Toddlers enjoy the color of the drink while the adults enjoy the bubbling laughter that is coming from their kids.

My kiddies “Fruit Punch Delight”
Make it for fun or make it for a party. Blend it together in your blender and make a smoothie out of it.
There are plenty of options and putting it all together has never been easier.

Here’s how you can teach your toddlers how to make “Fruit Punch Delight“:
Things You’ll Need:
- 1 tin of lychee fruit
- 3 cups of apple juice
- 3 cups of pineapple juice
- 1/2 cup of ice cubes
- 1 tin of Nata de coco [sometimes we use palm seeds (attap chee)]

Attap chee or “buah kabung”
Notes:
Nata de coco is a chewy, translucent, jelly-like food product produced by the bacterial fermentation of coconut water.
The product originates from the Philippines.
“Nata de coco” comes from Spanish “Cream of Coconut“.
Cream in this sense means the fat from the coconut milk.
The Spanish name is a result of Spain’s colonization of the Philippines.
Step by step Guide:
- Step 1: Chill juice until icy cold.
- Step 2: If using tinned fruit salad, freeze for about an hour before serving.
- Step 3: Let your toddlers help to pour juice into a punch bowl add fruit and ice cubes.

Here’s how you can teach your toddlers how to make “Fruit Punch with Sherbet“:

Blissful Fruit Punch with Sherbet *uh oh!*
Things You’ll Need:
- 1 small container of lime, 1 small container of orange, and 1 small container of strawberry: blended (for sherbet)
- 3 cups of pineapple juice
- 3 cups of watermelon juice
- 1/2 cup of ice cubes
Step by step Guide:
- Step 1: Let your toddlers help carefully to pour in pineapple juice and watermelon juice. Mix the two ingredients together.
- Step 2: Taste test your drink so far. Is there enough fruit punch? Add more if need be. Put ice cubes.
- Step 3: Scoop globs sherbet and place on the top of the punch mixture. Cover the entire punch bowl with a layer of scooped sherbet. Do not mix this drink once the sherbet is in place.
- Step 4: Use a ladle to pour in to individual glasses and serve cold.
Notes:
- To keep the punch really cold, try freezing some of the juice in ice cube trays overnight and add to the punch.
- Don’t add the sherbet until right before you are ready to serve.
- You can not substitute ice cream for the sherbet. Milk products do not go well with fruit punch.
- Garnish your cups with paper umbrellas, fresh fruits or funny straws.

Moshi-moshi mommies
This article is dedicated for Father’s Day.
How did your toddler celebrate Father’s day with his/her father?
Father’s day is coming up and my kiddies wondering what to do for their lovely PaPa.

Personal gift from KiruaMi-cHan, ReiHi-cHan & YunaFi-cHan for PaPa…
They want to do something really special because it will be their first time celebrating it as big family.
My hubby has done a great job in taking care of me and my kiddies throughout the pregnancy, he is such an encourager, he has worked hard to support us all!
We really want to do something special for him, so my kiddies and I planned to make homemade truffles for our dear PaPa
——————————————————–
Let’s us share our recipes on “Homemade Oreo Truffles” (inspired from our “Mak Ngah a.k.a meamizuno).
Things You’ll Need:
- 3 packed of Oreo
- 500gm of cream cheese
Step by step Guide:
- Step 1: Finely crush 3 pakced of Oreo cookies.
Place them in a ziploc bag and let your baby and toddler crush into a fine consistency. Reserve for later.
- Step 2: Crush remaining cookies and stir in softened cream cheese.
Use the back of a large spoon to help mash the two together.
- Step 3: Roll the mixture into 1″ balls and place on wax paper covered cookie sheet or tray.
- Step 4: Make your own favorite chocolate dipped.
We make our homemade “ganache choc dipped” and then dip balls into chocolate, tap off extra and set aside on wax paper covered cookie sheet to dry.
You can sprinkle the tops with colorful topping or white chocolate for decoration. (I asked for my kiddies help to complete this stage)
- Step 5: Once dry, refrigerate and enjoy!

Choc-a-lot!
