Good afternoon hot momma
May you’ve a lovely day *snuggles*
Just a lil update from me before before driving back to my husband hometown in JB (he’s a proudly Johorean ^0^ ).
This year, Ramadan, month of fasting was special for my family. It was the first time in my kids life to fully enjoy fasting together. We enjoyed waking up before dawn, preparing breakfast, rushing to have one more glass of soy milk while listening to the call for morning prayer that signals the end of eating and start of fasting, in the evening: cooking time and again listening to the Mullah’s call for the evening prayer and end of fasting, preparing for tarawih!
All of this we enjoyed with relish, especially talking and dinner with family about their daily routine plus remembering wistfully those of my own family’s twenty years ago.

Last night supper: Homemade Cheesy Beef Cake *walla~*
Alhamdulillah, we’re done with our kids preparation for Eid-ul-Fitr. Shoes hunting for kids? DONE!
And, yesterday was my last-minute shopping for makeup and shoes (of course sponsored by dear hubby, winks

Embrace the Holy Month of Ramadhan: Teaching and Fasting with Your Toddler & Preschooler (Sponsored by GroomyRoom)
Post by MamaFiza on September 9, 2009
This is Sticky Post (48 hours) . Kindly scroll down for our latest post. TQ >_<
——————————————————–
Note: This article is brought to you proudly by our significant sponsor: Miss Siti, the owner of (GroomyRoom) for her loves in children’s Islamic education plus her enthusiasm in stylish signature hijab for modern muslimah.
Specially today, I would like to share about “Embrace the Holy Month of Ramadhan: Teaching and Fasting with Your Toddler & Preschooler“. What a lovely moment to share with your precious baby, toddler, preschooler and the rest of the family.
Sincerely for me, Ramadhan is more than fasting month. What is crucially important, is to appreciate the reasons behind the fasting, what those reasons denote and what this means to fasting Muslims. It includes: positive behavior, fasting, prayers, charity, Quran time with family, family bonding, appreciation to others and lots more. It’s the best time to cultivate your wonderful kids regarding Islamic education. Insya-Allah~
Alhamdulillah, for this year, KiruaMi-cHan’s still didnt miss his fasting day, ReiHi-cHan’s missed 1 day and YunaFi-cHan’s managed to fast for 4 full days. Honestly, my kids start their journey of fasting since their age of 30 months. E.g: (2 and 1/2 years: target = 5 days, 3 and 1/2 years: target = 15 days, 4 and 1/2 years 25 days/full month).
My tips is simple: encourage them to fast for a few hours a day during Ramadan in their early childhood day.
Indeed they can possibly do it! You’ll be amazed with your kids

Me with my favorite hijab ^-^
Below is special video from my kids and I, dedicated to our Ramadhan Journal 2009 via our new YouTube channel: LittleKittleTV
Note: Please click here if you can’t view the above video.
- Introduce Story-Telling about Fasting Month
There is nothing I love more than reading with my kids. During Ramadan I read books to help them in their understanding of the holiday and of the Islamic religion. Do start early. Sharing great prophets & friends stories and related with your kids daily life. Please make it exciting and fun. They’ll be truly enjoyed
- Let your Kids Notice the Purpose
Before your kids start their vey first fasting day. Let them understand the purpose & reason. Do remind and motivate them upon the secret behind Ramadhan.
- Bring your kids to Mosque
We love to accompany our dear kids to mosque as weekly routine. A concept becomes real and meaningful to children when they observe it rather than directly read or watch from TV/Internet.
Did you know?:
The Prophet Muhammad s.a.w used to bring his grandchildren Hassan and Hussein to the mosque as toddlers before they knew how to pray.
- Appreciate their Feedback & Passion and Have Fun!
Talk about their emotions & feelings. Let them know relationship of body and mind. Praise their hard work with your hugs and kisses ^0^ Please do show your child that you love them, regardless of how they perform. As every child is unique & let their progress at their own pace.
- Distract them with LOTs of FUN activities
Make Ramadhan arts & craft activities. Moon & star gazing. Collecting pebbles & sticks for Eid cards decoration. They’ll surely forget about their thirst & hunger. Let them take several time-out.
- Cooked their Favorite Food
Enjoy your day cooking with your lil ones their favorite food as reward for their great behavior. They will feel a sense of accomplishment when they see they see what a delicious feast they have helped to prepare to break the day’s fast.
I hope you’ll make this Ramadan as introductory of a note-worthy and long-lasting training experience for you and your lil angel. Amin~

Makeup for Preschooler (Stage Show)
Post by MamaFiza on July 3, 2009
Good Friday lovely mommies
Wish you were in great day *hugs*
How do you feel today?
Everybody needs to take care of their self in order to feel good about oneself. Think about it.
It works the other way around as well. If you teach your lil ones to feel good about him/herself then they are going to be taking care of themselves. *Insya-Allah*
Perfect beauty is an elusive concept, but if you can feel good about yourself by enhancing your looks, you may find more joy in your life, rite? What do your lil girl think about it?
Do you allow your preschooler to use makeup?

ReiHi-cHan’s outing purse *full with hair bands & hair clips!*

MamaFiza’s makeup bag: it’s mine
With no doubt, I don’t think make-up and toddler belong in the same sentences unless it’s in a play setting.
My approach is different; I say it’s alright to play with makeup once in a blue moon, just like it’s OK to play with princess gowns, tutu, tiaras, wings and a wand.
Why? Because they are all for fantasy and dress up and have nothing to do with real life. It’s fun, it’s flashy, it’s all over her face and it usually has sparkles in it, too.
Just like I wouldn’t mind her wearing big red circles on her cheeks to be a clown, I don’t mind colors on her face for fantasy dress up other times. (And there is usually little difference between the two!)
I see nothing wrong with it because it is encouraging her to be creative and she is having fun doing it. I am a mother of 3 lil *future* lady so I will teach them to apply it age appropriately
That way, there is a definitive dividing line about what’s appropriate for little girls and grown up ladies. She doesn’t confuse one for the other.
And the best fun? Let her put it on herself.
And if you’re feeling generous, let her do your face, too. Make sure you have a camera with you to capture those sweet moment >_<

Makeup Tips for Toddler and Kids *Note: only recommended for special live stage show* :
- Always cleanse her skin to remove any makeup.
- Sunscreen protect your child looks for the future.
- Powder or mineral makeup offers a way to brighten the skin without foundation.
- Use gentle scrubs to keep her skins fresh.
- Neutral colors look good on lil girl.
- Get plenty of nutritious food, be active & ensure you lil ones get uninterrupted sleep.

The bottom line, I believe let kids be kids.

A Journey from a Beginner to Advanced Dance Class
Post by MamaFiza on May 22, 2009
Happy Friday beautiful mommies,
Wish you were in lovely moment
Today, love to share a lil update regarding my previous Latin Dance class *alhamdulillah*.
Guess what? Last week, I’ve moved from beginner class to advance class! *yippie*
Honestly, I just attended my 1st class in Advance Latino Dance class last week (after 2 times joinning Beginner Latino Dance class).
Why I heart dancing?
Dancing is an intellectual activity as it requires dancers to remember steps and sequences, which boosts brain power and improves memory.

Make-up before going to dance class ![]()
I love “Nude” lipgloss!
My new teacher (secretly asked me not to enclosed name or pics yet) is amazingly 50+ years old! *wohoo!*
I can’t believe myself either ^0^ Perfectly proofs that dance could makes your mind & body healthy
“Dance gets you into your body”, says Nancy Cassman, a dance/movement therapist and founder of Express Your Self, a dance and movement center in Boulder, Colo. “In our society, people sit at desks and on couches all the time, and we’ve become very brain-oriented,” she points out. “Dance bridges the gap between the brain and the body so that you tap into your physical, emotional, spiritual and mental being.”
I’ve learned 2 new moves, practicing choreography sets of “Bootylicious” by Miss Beyonce and learning to dance with partner!
Since last week till today, every night before sleep, the King a.k.a PaPa, generously helps me: be my dance partner to practice my dance moves. Thanks a lot darling *giggles*
My supportive husband and I practiced happily to get 5 routines ready daily. We were having such a great time dancing together and we really were like two peas in a pod.
Indeed, learning dance is like any other new skill, you must PRACTICE to be great. Even after your first class, you should practice the basic step until it becomes part of your muscle memory.
IMHO, beginners *like me* should practice their basics well before trying all the advanced moves, and intermediate and advanced dancers should work on great footwork (turn out and pointing), leg action, and turning techniques to improve their overall performance.

Posing with my latin dance teacher: Miss Nicole & me,
lecturer of MASTERSKILL University College: Sir Uma *left*
& lecturer of University Nottingham Malaysia: Sir Victor *right*

Me with dedicated assistant of the dance class: Miss Chan ![]()
Gosh, love her sincerity *hugs!*
She reminds me on my beloved grandma.
These benefits include, not only learning new dance skills, but also the vast physical benefits of dance, living a more healthy lifestyle, losing weight, being around other people (dancers) who lead positive and healthy lifestyles, being artistic & creative, making new friends and networking.
Not only will you become fitter, but research shows you can lose weight, tone flabby muscles, get your heart rate up, boost your brain power and fight dementia
So what are you waiting for? Put on your dancing shoes, mommies.
You’ll love it, and your husband will love it even more! Physical closeness and looking into each other’s eyes : these things can boost intimacy, communication and desire.
Whether you dance in a class, with your kids, or alone in your living room, you’re having fun and being healthy. And, while you’re moving your arms and feet, you’re also moving your soul, because it’s hard to be sad when you’re dancing.

8th April 2009
Good afternoon sugary mommies,
Wish you were in lovely day *cuddles & tickles*
Just a lil update on beauty review from my favorite makeup: LovingMinerals.
Still remember my post regarding to minerals make up before?
You can imagine my delight when I received wonderful testimonials from: Miss Aziera , Miss Bonnie , Miss Millie, Miss Farrah, Miss Hanz and Miss CoachSha for this products; appreciated by those who are using and enjoying the products.
So, have YOU tried LovingMinerals.com yet?
Visit their website and get your hands on these incredible products now.
Did you know that if you sleep in makeup you’ll affect your skin’s health and your skin will only recover 28 days later?

Paint Me Gorgeous: LovingMinerals.com
My dermatologist previously suggested that I must only use mineral makeup for my skin type.
I have tried others but they were drying. LovingMinerals products was not only corrective with coverage but gave my skin the moisture that it needed without clogging my pores.
I have definitely made it not only my daily makeup but also my special occasion face enhancer!
My skin breaths and looks perfect, you don’t get that with the other brands out there *alhamdulillah*

Oh lookie, what do we have here: MamaFiza’s Stuff >_<

All thanks to SkinFood: White Grape Fresh Base – help my skin moist and fresh all day! *alhamdulillah*
My pores have reduced tremendously. I use this base every morning and night BEFORE applying LovingMinerals makeup. My skin is clear and soft *happiness*
Plus, my skin has glow after using it, I can see my cheek is natural pinky now.
p/s: please buy at Alamanda, Putrajaya outlet: friendly & helpful saleslady
My review: SkinFood - White Grape Fresh Base
This is a must! I have dry cheeks, very oily-T-zone with lots of blackheads (before I use this) and big pores. No more painful peel-off mask, hence, smells delicious, it’s very affordable.
After getting this baby, my black heads are GONE! I’m not kidding *alhamdulillah* ^0^ The best skin care!
p/s: my lil sister Mea: voted for Lime Base![]()

Important Notes:
I do not “Photoshop” my below photos especially those of my face/skin. I only wish to introduce good products that I find useful for myself. I use “Photoshop” to insert the copyright watermark words only.
I’m really happy to have discovered a product as wonderful as LovingMinerals makeup.
Until I came across this product, I had the most difficult time finding a foundation that lasts all day without leaving my face looking shiny or cakey.
Thanks to LovingMinerals.com, my skin looks natural, radiant, and feels richly moisturized even after I take off my makeup at the end of the day. I can see and feel the remarkable difference in my skin *alhamdulillah*

With LovingMinerals make up: Day 1

My skin after take off my makeup: Day 3

My skin after take off my makeup, became fairer and smoother : Day 5

My face after take off my makeup (even better!) *alhamdulillah* : Day 21
Mom’s Value? Definitely LovingMinerals.com
- delivers on it’s promise and is reasonable priced.
- the take off of product is hassle-free, simply water. I didn’t believe it myself but it worked great.
The best makeup I have ever worn! It felt like I had none on at all, yet it made me look gorgeous.
All without clogging my pores and making me breakout.
