Auto-Publish by MamaFiza: Week of Outstation Job .
Good morning lovely ladies
Wish you’re in great start for February 2010!
Also, if you’ve emailed me in the last week, especially about homeschool or web design slot and I haven’t gotten back to you yet, please sit tight. I do intend to respond to everyone soon in mid February 2010 as I’m still away for outstation duty with my beloved family.
Glad to present my new rig, gift from my dearest hubby *Alhamdulillah*. Aim is for daily use as primary system for VIP client meet-up & homeschool management task.
It’s HP Mini Upgraded to 2GB RAM. And it’s metallic pink! *sugar!*
So tiny, just 10-inch and weight: 1 kg.
This is my “me-time” space in our couple room ^-^
You may spotted my vision board, homeschool’s project,
super comfy red chair, some of my favorite books,
& calendar from my best pal Miss Yus.
Thanks darling hubby for being such supportive to me. 100% made by the King.
First of all, my dearest hubby surprised me last week. He told me that he felt enormous pity seeing me carrying my personal notebook: Apple MacBook Pro 15-inch in every meeting with VIP clients. He said it’s just too bulky for my size *lol*. That’s why now I only used it in our home workstation for designing purpose.
So, instead of carrying a heavy notebook computer around, I choose “netbook“. Other than that, this new rig of mine is just what I needed.
Well, the Apple MacBook Pro was beginning to cost a lot to own. However, it’s worth it
My work-lappy! Very sturdy >_<
The King’s beast (left) with my beauty (right) *giggles*
Click here to view our old workstation setup.
Why? Because my big boy KiruaMi-cHan and my big girl ReiHi-cHan were truly passionate plus involved in graphic designing & photo editing.
Yes, we guide them (since 3 years old) to major in using both PC and Mac. We do start early due to toddler’s life is full of wonder, and spends a lot of time observing and imitating. They love to spend time with parents and enjoy helping out with simple household & work tasks.
Anyway, in the next couple of days I will auto-post more information on my kids new build workstation and possibly a few pictures as well *Insya-Allah*
Netbook computers are generally the less powerful version of laptop computers. Small, light, portable, durable, economical and energy-efficient. Netbooks are slimmer, they put off less heat, and they are convenient for the on-the-go person who wants to keep in touch with their network. It is ideal for internet surfing, email, word processing, research, and other not so heavy applications.
Tips: When buying a new PC or workstation, please consider what it will be used for, where it will be used, and long-term support when making a decision. That way you’ll love what you buy and use it the way it was meant to be.
Now, I have no excuse for not doing good job in my routine
And now, dear loyal friends, tell me about your private “me time” home-space.
All the best my ladies, may God blessed your family, be positive!
p/s: Thank you for your inquiry regarding (WAHM Workshop with MamaFiza), please click here to read personal testimonial from my gorgeous ladies from 1st WAHM event. Do email me if you like to get extra seats for my 2nd event, gal.

Good nite sweet ladies
May God bless your day *hugs*
How’s your life with your beloved kids? Hope everything will be marvelous >_<
Last week while attending one of my VIP function, I received one interesting question from my new clients:
Mamafiza dearie, you work at home, spending most of your time with your kids. So how do you “dress for success” as I’m full-time working lady (single yet with professional career) but I’m more like “dress to depress”? ~ Miss X
Note: Sorry, can’t revealed her real name due to respect her own request.
My new bags & watch, anniversary gifts from my dear hubby ^_-
What lies behind us, and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson
To be honest, I am amazed at how many people I see while running errands who assumed I had a traditional career outside the home because I don’t appear like a mother who stays at home with her kids *lol*.
I am a professional designer and I do not want to be uncomfortable or intimidating to my clients who come to me for advice. Of course, I’ll always vote: Dress for Success.
As I do believe, if you don’t visualize your own success, you can’t materialize your own success.
Yes, it’s indisputable that one of the greatest benefits of working at home is the fact that we can wear comfortable, inexpensive clothes if we want to. Personally, I prefer to be comfortable.
In the modern business climate I worked in at the time, appearances did matter. Even though in other environments it isn’t as important.
But I know there are a lot of moms who still get up and dress each morning as if they’re going off to work. As they justify that it helps them mentally get in a “working mood“. When I have a prospective client meeting, I always wear some nicely tailored suit with just enough accessories for them to uncover my creativity.
As WAHM experienced has changed me in so many ways in positive perspective *Alhamdulillah*. I find the biggest challenge is setting the “right” example and being the perfect role model.
With no doubt, I love my children dearly and I want them to see that mother has a life too.
Don’t you know that 55% of another person’s perception of you is based on how you look. You may learn how to look your best, without spending a lot of money.
Normally, when I tell people that I am a WAHM, I do always get some odd responses to that *lol* Like “Ummph, you have no education, rite?“
When someone asks me what I do, I tell them I work home with my lovely children and I’m NOT in the least ashamed or embarrassed. I have learned that most people who don’t think much of work-at-home moms (WAHM) and stay-at-home moms (SAHM) don’t know what’s involved and how much a family benefits and appreciates what we do.
However, I am very comfortable with my answers, but amazingly a lot of other people are not. They think my education is going to waste. My speedy answer to ‘em “I’m raising my children, and teaching them. What better use of my skills?“
So momma, please feel proud of what you do It’s a noble job! Cheer up, will ya?
Some simple tips on what to wear for interview (women’s attire):
- Solid & natural color, conservative suit
- Coordinated blouse
- Moderate shoes
- Limited jewelry and accessories
- Neat, professional hairstyle
- Tan or light hosiery
- Light make-up & perfume
- Manicured nails
- Portfolio or briefcase
- Personal laptop or netbook
My new suit from him too! Another collection for my business wardrobe.
*Alhamdulillah, I’m so happy!*
Love to match my attire with my special edition executive watch
*Thank you my King!* ^-^
Love life and life will love you back. Love people and they will love you back ~ Arthur Rubinstein
Sleek & Stylish: my new hand-phone. It’s just 76g!
Thanks darling dear *my hubby*
My tips to Dress for Success:
- Get organized. Having a routine and making lists keeps me alive! Don’t over-schedule the kids. Remember that children need time to just play.
- Please do take care of your appearances and make sure that you always look your best as you are the only face of your business. It’s important that you see yourself as a confident, presentable woman.
- Apply a little bit of makeup and spray your favorite perfume on your clothing. Remember to take good care of your hair, keep it clean and nicely combed.
- Make yourself feel special, do find some time for yourself (get some treat!).
Do kindly remember that you worth the time it takes to feel beautiful and desirable.Work at home moms can enjoy the benefits of professional life as much as other working women.
Best of luck mommies

Happy Friday pretty mommies
Wish you were in lovely day.
Confession Time: As honest as I can be, I am actually a speed-reader (10 books in 1 day!) and I’m having serious reading addiction (exclusively non-fiction) since primary school.
Yes, I was that kid who could talk, write & draw for hours on a book I ever read.
My new books to read: early November 2009 ^0^
Note: Novels are excluded from “serious reading” Personally, I’m rarely read fiction books, only prefer to read ‘em to escape into another world when I have the time to read.
Zealously, I know I need to do some fun and light reading time, but honestly I didnt have much time to implement in reality.
Poor people have big TVs, rich people have libraries~ Brian Tracy
If you’ve been reading this blog, you already know I don’t buy a lot of toys for my kids. We love to INVENT toys instead of buying ‘em I like toys, I genuinely do (I’m a proud owner of GUNDAM collection since in my Form3 [15 years old] *I build my model kits*) , but there are few things I’d spend my money on (enough said, lol). Books!
Alhamdulillah, I’m not a lazybones when it comes to the amount of books I read in a year. However I believe, the important is quality reading and not quantity.
The method that I use for my speedy reading uses a broad approach that combines several techniques, but still require me to read every word. My four basic principle to help your kids to learn speed reading:
- Hand-motion reading
- Eye-muscle routine trainning
- Memory enhancement through vocalization
- Organizational comprehension
Alert: You must practice these techniques or they will not work at all. It is not MAGIC. Speed reading is a variable, not a goal.
KiruaMi-cHan’s fresh collection…hoho!
Below is latest video from our kids after books hunting, last week *Alhamdulillah*:

Till next time, sweet mommies Best of luck with your reading!

Ohaiyo gozaimasu gorgeous mommies
Wish you’re in wonderful day *hugs*
It’s been a pretty busy week already with our homeschool final semester for year 2009.
I’m going to keep it real here, for a moment. I hope you don’t mind. I’ll get back to my homeschool tips, work at home moms talk, event reviews and all that jazz within next 2 weeks.
And yes, I’m very busy preparing for BIG day, next week *shhh*

Today? I just want to update and whine a little, okie dookie? ^0^
First an update. We’ve been working really hard: homeschooling schedule & outstation job. Extremely hard.
To me it’s a great privilege being able to deep dive into some of the most hip education lifestyle (homeschool is ROCK!) plus surrounded with amazing new technologies in home sweet home (love our family’s workstation, Alhamdulillah!).
My husband (the King!) and I had discussed: brainstorming ideas on how to leverage and expand our online job services to market together with our beloved kids (yes, they’re our biz partner too ). We’re having so much fun and I’m very much aware that doing this as a job which allows me to share valuable moment with my family is something I should never take for granted.
Heading into crunch time at work – we need to have everything up and running before the new year (2010) begins.
Hola kiddy pie ^0^
Many of our loyal blog readers have been contacting me over the past couple of days asking me to reveal details about my new workshop: WAHM Workshop with MamaFiza. However, I’m terribly sorry that I had to be quite for various reasons. Number 1: We’ve been in negotiations with our outstation job clients (VVIPs). They typically do not allow us to talk about the stuff they’re planning with us to public. But hey, money rules and so we’ve been quiet.
Don’t worry, this will change shortly and I’ll try my best to reply your request regarding WAHM Workshop within this week. Insya-Allah.
p/s: One thing I learned during my hectic years of entrepreneurship is, that if you really believe in something, you are going to overachieve more than you thought of would be possible
WHY I heart my cuddly husband as my personal manager & my kids as my private consultants?
They are outstanding! Their vision, focused, open minded, thought-leading and bring to the table many different view points, which I particularly enjoy (and undoubtedly amaze!). The conversations we’re having (strictly just in workstation areas), is so much inspiring, I love it! *Alhamdulillah*
Most of my close friends keep asking me how I cope with the distraction working on so many different projects. I believe: Love comes first before money!
Privately, I’m enjoying my time with the love of my life – who in many ways forced me to do exactly what I’m doing these days >_<
Oh, BTW, I almost forgot to mention: We will have great job openings available at LittleKittle.com .
If you’re passionate about work-at-home-based, technology, consider yourself being one of the best in your field and are tired of working in cubicle, feel free to get in touch. More info on specific positions will be available shortly, just explain briefly what you’re up to these days, what you do best and don’t forget to link in some references.
We are happy to welcome wholesalers and working with an international team is something we consider beneficial.
I’d like to thank all of my readers, subscribers and followers for keeping me motivated and the many good conversations we had. Hope to read, meet and talk to you soon!
Our dinner (yesterday!). Baked macaroni beef & cheese *Alhamdulillah*
Tadaa. . .
Add-on with extra homemade bologne sauce *uh oh!*
Update from the King: If you started to miss his blog posting, he’ll be back after his outstation duty & he will write in Malay language (requested by LittleKittle.com’s readers via his personal email! O’ boy, I’m thrilled ).
