Alhamdulillah, everything gone smoothly yesterday (2 hours of interview moment & photo-shoot). Gazillion thanks to Miss Halina, journalist from Berita Harian & Miss Nisa, professional photograper.

However, due to my full homeschool schedule, I’ll probably write an update about it by next week *Insya-Allah*.

Today, we would like to share about “Playing with Smooth Clay” :-D

Undoubtedly, children love molding and shaping clay into their own sculpture creations.

Clay Mask-Day!

Do be careful as sometimes their tiny fingers tend to end up in their mouths *winks*

Nevertheless by making your own homemade non-toxic modeling play clay insures your child’s safety while they create. And yes, all these clays can be stored in tupperware or baggies in the fridge for several days.

If children can notice a change in the clay, they are learning that their actions have consequences.  This encourages more experimentation.

Amazingly, the child’s brain is taking shape along with the clay.  Such self-initiated activity can be the perfect match for the developmental needs of the child.

Clay stimulates the child’s curiosity. Intelligence, imagination, and creativity are engaged and cherished.

They might poke it, squeeze it, pinch it, roll it, and pound it down, and so on.  These changes always mean very little to us as parents, but for a toddler & preschooler these changes in the clay are magical.

Your child will naturally fascinated, motivated, and empowered to keep experimenting.
