Investing in Your Family Health
Post by MamaFiza on March 26, 2009
Good morning lovely mommies
Hope you were in great day *cuddles*
Today, I would love to share our family’s healthy foods secret: Olive Oil
Olive oil is one of nature’s best kept secrets; the medicinal and culinary benefits of which have only recently been discovered.

Laleli: Early Harvest Extra Virgin Oil is my favorite! Awesome taste and flavor
Laleli Olive Oil is made from olives grown in the Edremit Bay, a region well-known for one of the best olives in the world; referentially uses fruits hand-picked in early harvest, cold-processed – produce oil with exquisite taste and quality.
Olive oil is a great choice because it enhances low fat food with flavor. There is no need to serve monotonous meals when olive oil is in your pantry.
With olive oil, less is more, and a little goes a long way. I won’t settle for anything less, and I bet you’ll be disappointed if you try to save your family budget by using a different oil because it’s worth it! *please think again, momma?*
p/s: It will only cost you less than MYR 100 monthly to buy 5 litres of olive oil.

Why Extra Virgin Olive Oil?
- Not all olive oil qualifies as superfood; it must be extra virgin and cold pressed to retain all of its nutritional benefits.
- The health benefits of olive oil are due to the high content of antioxidants and monounsaturated fatty acids, especially Omega-9’s.
- Olive oil protects against heart disease by lowering LDL (or “bad” cholesterol) and raising HDL (or “good” cholesterol). Olive oil also provides a healing effect for ulcers and gastritis.

Believe me, despite the fact that eating out is “in,” nothing beats a home-cooked meal.
Home-cooked meals (which tend to include more vegetables and fruit and fewer fried foods and soft drinks) offer health benefits, including decreasing the risk of obesity. Meals cooked at home also cost less than restaurant, takeout, or prepackaged meals.
You don’t have to be a professional chef to do it! In fact, with a few simple tips, you can prepare delicious, healthy meals that your whole family will enjoy.
Saute with it, bake, broil, grill, or use it in salad dressings, and you’ll move up to heart healthy cooking. Heart healthy olive oil can make the difference.

Do remember, healthy eating starts in the grocery store. What we buy affects how well we eat.
Health is worth more than learning! ~ Thomas Jefferson
We are what we eat: Healthy nutrition is vital to proper development in children and setting them up for a quality life.
Unfortunately, many families are struggling to put quality foods on the table for their children, meaning they are exposed to greater health risks now and in the future.

One thing I want to reply to is that fat burning plan fast can be carried out by the correct diet and exercise. A person’s size not only affects appearance, but also the quality of life. Self-esteem, major depression, health risks, and also physical abilities are afflicted in an increase in weight. It is possible to do everything right whilst still having a gain. In such a circumstance, a problem may be the culprit. While an excessive amount of food rather than enough exercising are usually accountable, common health conditions and key prescriptions can easily greatly help to increase size. Kudos for your post here.
