Father’s Day: Homemade Oreo Truffles

How did your toddler celebrate Father’s day with his/her father?

Father’s day is coming up and my kiddies wondering what to do for their lovely PaPa.

They want to do something really special because it will be their first time celebrating it as big family.

My hubby has done a great job in taking care of me and my kiddies throughout the pregnancy, he is such an encourager, he has worked hard to support us all!

We really want to do something special for him, so my kiddies and I planned to make homemade truffles for our dear PaPa

Let’s us share our recipes on “Homemade Oreo Truffles” (inspired from our “Mak Ngah a.k.a meamizuno).

Things You’ll Need:

3 packed of Oreo
500gm of cream cheese

Step by step Guide:

Step 1: Finely crush 3 pakced of Oreo cookies.
Place them in a ziploc bag and let your baby and toddler crush into a fine consistency. Reserve for later.

Step 2: Crush remaining cookies and stir in softened cream cheese.
Use the back of a large spoon to help mash the two together.

Step 3: Roll the mixture into 1″ balls and place on wax paper covered cookie sheet or tray.

Step 4: Make your own favorite chocolate dipped.
We make our homemade “ganache choc dipped” and then dip balls into chocolate, tap off extra and set aside on wax paper covered cookie sheet to dry.
You can sprinkle the tops with colorful topping or white chocolate for decoration. (I asked for my kiddies help to complete this stage)

Step 5: Once dry, refrigerate and enjoy!
