Going to the park is not only a good way for your toddler to get fresh air and exercise, but also serves as an excellent learning experience.

Dear Mommies,

Please set aside a whole morning or evening to play in the park. Pack a picnic for you and your toddler.
Walk around the park and teach your lil tot new vocabulary. Let your toddler choose which activities you do together

Bring a container with to the park and create a bucket of memories.

Your toddler will be gathering much more than found objects with this toddler activity.

Doesn’t it seem like toddlers love to play with everything that’s not a toy?

Their sheer curiosity often allows for easy access to all sorts of interesting play objects.

How to Build Your Toddler Bucket of Memories:

Head outside with your toddler and a basket, bucket or even a wagon.
Go to a local park, open space, or even your own yard, and look for interesting objects found in nature.
Sticks, leaves, rocks and pine-cones are all great finds. Have your toddler pick them up and put them into the container.
