Post by MamaFiza on May 28, 2007
Today, ReiHi-cHan is 1 years and 5 months old *alhamdulillah*.
She is such a remarkable toddler and loves to read book.

If you give her to choose between toys or books; with no doubt, she will choose a book as her companion.
She rather burst out crying if she could not has a book.
In her live, she just crying for 2 things; books and food!
Nowadays, she just loved a one-to-one conversation with me, telling me about herself, her activities, her thought or most of the time, makes jokes!
She is the one whom loved to be pampered and hugs. Her smiling face always brighten up my day.
My dearly ReiHi-cHan, mama love you!

KiruaMi-cHan the Big Bro
Post by MamaFiza on May 27, 2007
KiruaMi-cHan is a big bro in our family.
He loves to help me in everything; wash laundry, playing & teaching ReiHi-cHan, sings for YunaFi-cHan, become my health advisor plus more and more to write on.

As time goes by, I could not believe myself that; small cuddly little boy once always be by my side now had grown so fast and I can’t bear to watch him alone without me.
He kept me craving for more to enhance myself in educating him.
Our favorite show is “Top Gear”, every Sunday, 3 pm at NTV7.
In my past, I know nothing about car or frankly speaking as a prime transportation, however I know more than a mechanic himself.
All because of KiruaMi-cHan’s passion.
He rather waited for me to explain about the inner & outside part, history, science behind the invention, a biography of the first inventor, future method and more!
He is the one whom so lovable and always showered me with sweet words. He is my sword.
Love you KiruaMi-cHan!

Independent Reader
Post by MamaFiza on May 8, 2007
Alhamdulillah, starting from today, my 3 years and 3 months old toddler; KiruaMi-cHan is an independent reader! *yeay*
His second book is; Book 1b – Peter and Jane. Subhanallah, I am truly amazed!

Last night, he could hardly wait to read the Book 1b by his own.
He managed to read and kept saying “I love to read book, mama” & “Mama, I want to read all night long”
He finished 30 pages by his own! *Oh God, thank you for such a lovely moment for both of us*
After his reading time, he willing to teach his little sister; ReiHi-cHan.
She looked so happy by having his brother as a mentor.
Oh yes, today I would like to share something
Here are a few things that you can do to help build your child’s literacy skills:
- Encourage your children to join in while you read.Pause to let them fill in a rhyming word or repeating line: I’ll huff and I’l puff . . .!
- Ask open-ended questions, such as What do you think is going to happen next? or Why do you think he did that?
- Move your finger under the words as you read aloud. This helps toddlers connect printed words to spoken words.
- Begin teaching the letters of the alphabet, starting with those in your child’s name. Make letter-learning fun with markers, magnets, glue, and glitter.
Try introducing the following types of books to your child:
- Knowledge book (encyclopedia, maps)
- Pattern books with rhymes and repetition
- Simple stories with predictable plots
- Concept books, such as counting and A-B-C books
So mommies, best of luck. And remember; reading is FUN!

First Time Reader
Post by MamaFiza on May 7, 2007
Alhamdulillah, it took me 10 days to teach my lil toddler KiruaMi-cHan his first reading book.
Today, both of us had completed our task. *cheers*

I took 15 min per day to guide him; page by page.
I started by 2 pages per day and I’ll added more page when I saw he is ready to go further.
And today; we done!
This precious day; he read aloud to my hubby and proudly showed his talent to his papa.
Papa smiled and granted him with big hugs and sweet kisses.
My day is worthy. Thank you so much Allah!

If Anything I Could Do
Post by MamaFiza on May 3, 2007
Dearest blog, (for others, you may just ignore this posting. Tq)
Today is just a busy day for me *same like usual* plus loaded with designing work to be done.
Suddenly, as I surfing the Internet and stop by; reading about a mother whom just lost his baby for the 3rd time, Subhanallah!
My mind strictly stucked.
How could she moves on her life? How could she be strong enough to live on?Blur.
My eyes, my brain, my soul could not help me more. It’s really scares me if anything related to “death“.
It is not about afraid of going ‘somewhere‘ but it is a matter of a deep relationship between a mother and a child.
Ok, let’s not talk about it anymore. I just can’t imagine my life without my lovely child.
I can’t take it anymore.
Ya Allah, may you put away all the grief and sorrow to every mother around the world. Amin~
If anything I could do;
- I want to be the greatest wife for my hubby
- I want to be the greatest mum for my child
I just want to love them in every single minute of my life, be with them forever.
But I know, it is impossible. What could I do more as a mother?
- Pray for my hubby and my child happiness. May they grow-up as a great Muslim; ‘soleh’ and ‘solehah’
- Keep up the positive mind everyday when I first wake up and move on through the day
- Teach and guide them with no hassle
- Play, fun, smile, hugs
May Allah bless you and your family! Amin~ p/s: Can write no more for today. Very emotional feeling *tears*
