How to Potty Training Your Toddler in 3 days

Cute Toilet

Learning to survive is definitely a tough subject to teach my toddler.

For me, a person whom have a courage to struggle hard to live even for one day is the ultimate hero rather that a person whom take short cut in life and suicide just because he can’t deal with difficulty in his life *you’re so cheap*.

There is NO short cut in real life, sorry, but I do not believe in pathetic attitude.

My baby boy begins to grow faster each and every second.

Everyone around me kept on pushing me saying that I had supposed to guide him in potty training earlier.*What the heck?*

This is my little baby, I know when will be the right time for him, maybe I will not always right but I tried my best to do anything for all my kids plus for the sake of this family!

I am not just the one whom wandering around without knowledge and living in fictions, research is my first priority; of course by reading! So peeps out there, don’t you ever mess with me.

Think twice before you decide to meet me.

Alhamdulillah, my hubby and I succeed in potty training our KiruaMi-cHan when he is 2 years and 8 months old. It acquired us 3 days to completely coaching him.I did not want to train him previously due to I always keep this in mind:

When you are preparing for your second/third child, do so well in advance of the baby’s arrival. You do not want your child to feel he/she is being forced out or replaced. Try to avoid other major transitions - toilet training, moving into a big-kid bed; for several months before and after the baby’s birth.

KiruaMi-cHan has just been with her new sibling; baby sister in 10 months and now he will be getting new siblings less than 5 months.

This is the perfect time for me to let he learn potty training.

Before teaching him, I prepared myself first.

The whole weeks I kept on praying to God, may this will be smooth sailing experience between me and my baby boy.

I explained to my toddler that we all have little signs that warn us when we’re getting angry.

Day 1

I told him:

Today we have big mission to complete. Let us play pee pee in the toilet with 1 rule: no diapers for the whole day. I

f everytime you felt want to pee, hurry grab my hand (what ever I done on that moment) and we will run together to the toilet.

He felt a bit awkward when not wearing his diapers for the first time.

But he felt happy when I reward him with a big mama bear hugs and said “Good boy, Kirua..you’re big boy now. Mama so proud of you!

Instead, when hearing this, my baby girl also clapped hand for her big brother.

What a great feelings!

I am so blissful and happy tears appeared in my eyes.

Do not ever punish your child while they were trying so hard to gain something in their life.

Guide, guide and never give up.

Only when he sleep, I put on pull-up diapers for him. Alhamdulillah, all goes smoothly today.

Day 2

We keep doing the same routine like yesterday.

He managed to *poo poo* in toilet without worries. I kept repeating, “It will be just fine and OK to wake me up if he want to go to toilet or anything“.

He just so delighted with himself. He could run like a race car and even faster without the diapers, as he told me.I

just smiling back at him and rub his cheek. I said ” You’ve show good example as a big brother. Later, sister will follow Along“.

Day 3

Today: Mission accomplished!

When going outside without diapers, I truly respect the needs of him to go to pee in clean and safe place.

Even though it takes me to run together with to the nearest petrol station or public toilet, I do! (And I have done it several times with him).

Even at that moment, I am heavily in my 5 months of pregnancy.

Moreover, my hubby is not around due to he need to go to outstation job in JB for the whole weeks.

On my right side I am holding my 10 months baby girl and on my left side holding my baby toddler hand while running to the toilet *I don’t have any vehicle, we walk almost everyday to any where since he was in womb*

I do felt sympathy and wretched to the other kids whom their parent just take easy way and short cut in teaching their kids about toilet training.

It is not just about teaching them not to wearing diapers, but it’s more to how to let our kids know where is a safe place to pee and poo, how to take care of their hygiene and sensitive organs etc.

I had too many-experienced watching little toddler and big kids plus even grown up, pee almost everywhere!

Beside the road, in the drain, behind the shop etc. Such a disgusting act!

Why they encourage their child to toilet training but they leave the rest job to their child as a burden?

As the results, most of those kids suffer in stressful life without their parent notice it.

Do not blame your child, but blame it on yourself!Oh, oh, maybe I am too emotional at this moment. *gomen ne*

However, please let your child be happy in what ever their done.

You will always get the pays back.

Best of luck mommies! Amin~
